Eso is short for Esoteric. Swimming in unknown territories is what keeps us fresh. Johnathan isn't scared to play music most other djs don't. His personal favorites are from decades past. Jonny has spent most of his life collecting music formats you can physically touch. From plastic cassettes with magnetic film, to records that melt like candles left out on a hot sunny day, to polycarbonate plastic substrate cds. With him, versatility is the theme, blending genres that "shouldn't" go together, pushing the envelope to discovery. Being able to flow from the classics that our parents grew up with to today’s hits while keeping the crowd rocking is the norm. It’s important to educate our guests, showing them the roots, and where the samples of music we love come from.

Jonny Eso got involved with nightlife in 2008 at a party called Lime Light, in Hollywood Florida, with Jake Inphamous. Since then, he's held residencies around South Florida from Miami Beach’s Broken Shaker & Eagle Room, Nocturnal & Mekka, to the Hard Rock’s former Pangaea & Gryphon. Jonny has opened for artists such as Paul Oakenfold, David Tort, Morten, DJ Vice, & Clinton Sparks, to name a few. Learning different skills from open format and electronic music, has allowed him to combine techniques from both worlds. Currently, he's a resident DJ at Rhythm & Vine in Fort Lauderdale where he spins the best in Hip Hop, R&B, FUNk, Disco, Soul, Pop, Rock, & EDM. You can also catch him playing vinyl only events with Un_Mute & Planeta Rave at many of Miami's premier underground events.

When Jonny Eso isn’t spinning records, he’s spinning pizza for Max Pierre’s SimplyGood Pizza, a pay-it-forward pizza concept that advocates doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.

A fun day out is shopping at local vinyl shops 1-800-Lucky, Technique Records, & Sweat Records.

At the end of the day, it’s all about love for music and love for our guests, there’s nothing more enjoyable than seeing people dancing and having the time of their lives.
